As part of IFFR’s 2023 ‘College Tour’, Director Vanja Kaludjercic will join us for a conversation about the world of film festivals and IFFR in particular. In a wide-ranging discussion she will tell us how filmmakers work with festivals and get their films accepted, the role of distributors, IFFR’s artistic and business priorities and Vanja’s own career path as a programmer and festival director. As part of the discussion a short film, a previous IFFR selection, will be screened as an example of the festival’s creative approach.
We are pleased to be co-hosting this event with ESHCC.
This open session is a great opportunity for students interested in film production, distribution and audiences to learn more from a key professional about how film festivals operate within the broader system of the film world and the creative industries.
