Hereby, they desire to stimulate an active and broad participation of Rotterdam women in social life. The funds financially supports projects which facilitate the social, cultural or economic development of women in Rotterdam, or activities which contribute to this goal, such as personal development, politics, music or sports.
Gemeente Rotterdam
Gemeente Rotterdam (Municipality of Rotterdam) provides the subsidy "snelloket", which is primarily focused on new, experimental or small-scale cultural activities in the different neighborhoods of Rotterdam. This subsidy is not a structural form of subsidization, but it is meant to provide an impuls. The "snelloket" works with culture scouts from Rotterdam, who stimulate the inhabitants and artists in the fourteen neighborhoods to realize large- and small-scale ideas in the sector of arts and culture.
