Anoek Blezer (President & Financial Control)
Hi all! My name is Anoek, the President of the 45th board of IFA ACE. This means that I am the one making sure that we are working towards our long-term and short-term goals we set for this year, and I ensure that the board and the committees are fulfilling their roles and feel happy while doing so. You will also see me leading the GA's or speaking at an event to represent ACE.
As Financial Control, I'll also be supporting our Treasurer by keeping an eye on the budget and helping them out when necessary.
I recently graduated from IBCoM, making this my fourth year at EUR and also at ACE. I am not doing a master's now, but fully focusing on working and being a board member! I have previously been the Treasurer of the Short Trip Committee, and this year I'll be the board representative of the Short Trip, Lustrum, Program and Eurekaweek committee. I can't wait to make more amazing memories this year!
In my (way too limited) free time, I love learning languages, going for a workout, and enjoying a drink or coffee with friends! I look forward to stepping into this role with enthusiasm, passion and an open mind, and I can't wait to speak to you all at our events.
Maximus Cole (Secretary & Editor-in-Chief)
Hello everyone, my name is Maximus and I am British. My roles are Secretary and Editor-in-Chief this year. I am responsible for the communication and administrative duties of ACE both externally and internally as well as the Monthly Newsletters that everyone receives. As the Editor-in-Chief, I also oversee our magazine EmbrACE which has some exciting plans for this academic year. I was also part of two committees last year and so I have been quite active within the association.
Outside the association, I am a second year History and International Relations student. You can also find me playing Squash as often as I can and if not, participating in Pool competitions. From my time living in India I am also a massive cricket fan, so feel free to spark up a conversation. Very enthusiastic for the year ahead and excited to meet so many new people!!
Maximilien van der Stegen (Treasurer)
Hey! My name is Maximilien. I am a second year IbCom student from France and I will be taking on the position of Treasurer of the Association. This means that I am responsible for all financial and administrative aspects of our association, one of my goals being to assure that the year's budget is well maintained while having fun at our events .
When I am not in the office or studying you will find me working out, listening to music albums, hanging out over a drink and playing some video games.
Maria Ornelas Barros de Oliveira (Public Affairs Manager)
Hi everyone! My name is Maria Ornelas Barros de Oliveira and I have the honor of being your Public Affairs Manager (PAM) on the 45th Board of ACE! This means I will be the point of contact for our external partners and sponsors, as well as with the ESHCC Faculty.
I am originally from Portugal, although I have lived in 5 different countries so far, and so I absolutely love traveling, and experiencing different cultures. I love watching football, taking pictures with my film camera, and daydreaming about my next travels.
If I'm not working (part-time & ACE), you can find me at the gym, planning my weekly meals (!!), and hanging out with friends. I am super excited for this year and everything it will bring for us, hopefully full with new connections, lots of laughter and a warm atmosphere! Can't wait to meet everyone!
Ashmita Sunil (Marketing Manager & Vice President)
Hi, I'm Ash, the Marketing Manager & the Vice President of the 45th Board of IFA ACE. I am currently doing my Master's in Media & Business. Last year I was the president of the Career & Networking committee. Alongside my studies and board year, I also am a student member for the Programme Committee of Media & Communication and a student ambassador for UNIC. So 99.99% of the times you will find me at the university!
I consider myself a person who is super enthusiastic about marketing and media. I love to be on stage or even in front of the camera. I am also a professional Indian Classical Dancer and, coming from India, I am a huge huge HUGE fan of Bollywood.
I look forward to the year with my lovely ACE board and all the ACE members. This being my final year at Erasmus, I hope I am able to leave a positive mark for the students and ESHCC as a faculty in whole.
