Since 1913, Erasmus Trustfonds has been supporting the growth and blossoming of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Magnet.me is an online service that connects students and recent graduates with employers. Over 100,000 students and over 1,200 graduate employers currently use the service. The Rotterdam based start-up was founded in 2012 by Vincent Karremans, Freek Schouten, Hugo de Ruiter and Laurens van Nues.

Rotterdams Vrouwenfonds

The Rotterdams Vrouwenfonds supports cultural, social and economic initiatives for & by women in Rotterdam, in all their diversity. Hereby, they desire to stimulate an active and broad participation of Rotterdam women in social life. The funds financially supports projects which facilitate the social, cultural or economic development of women in Rotterdam, or activities which contribute to this goal, such as personal development, politics, music or sports. 

Gemeente Rotterdam

Gemeente Rotterdam (Municipality of Rotterdam) provides the subsidy "snelloket", which is primarily focused on new, experimental or small-scale cultural activities in the different neighborhoods of Rotterdam. This subsidy is not a structural form of subsidization, but it is meant to provide an impuls. The "snelloket" works with culture scouts from Rotterdam, who stimulate the inhabitants and artists in the fourteen neighborhoods to realize large- and small-scale ideas in the sector of arts and culture.
